Abiding in the Lord is Crucial

WE MUST live our lives each day being connected to our Father in Heaven. Our hearts have to connect to His on the Throne. Man was never created to function without connectedness to God. Adam wasn’t created to go a day without receiving from the Lord. I believe he was created to commune with God and then relate to Eve and work in the garden from a place of Holy connectedness.

John 17:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven (to pray)

When Jesus is lifting His eyes here, He is connecting with the Father in Heaven in the throne room. What a powerful reality.

We have heard ‘we should seek first the kingdom and all will be added to us (Mat 6:33.)’ Now is the time to start living it for real. Seeking His kingdom is seeking the release of His will being done on earth, just as it is in heaven. Through our lives, relationships and intercession. And God will show us what to do each day: “Jesus only did that which He saw His Father do (Joh 5:19).” That verse is the ultimate spiritual maturity.

Mikebickle.org has a whole series of teaching and study on what the bible says about the throne room of God and the beauty of Jesus. He talks about how mediation and prayer on these verses transforms us as the Father ‘enlightens our spiritual eyes’ (Eph 1:16), to see Jesus.

This is one of the first things new Christians need to fix, relating to others with our fallen state being renewed by encounter with God. Eph 3:18 if we are in Christ we are now spiritually ‘seated in heavenly places.’ Places meaning the throne of Heaven where Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father.

This is not something we can fake. Authentic Christianity ministers to people. I feel like the Lord is highlighting morning prayer in this hour. For many that is a cross, for they would have to get up earlier, but it is worth it.
