Joy in the Lord

One of the greatest things I ever did was read Psa 119 about David’s delight being in the Law, and ask the Lord to make that happen to me.  Many at Ihop say ‘it takes God to know God’ and this is no exception.  Each Scripture is an invitation to a reality in God, we must take each verse and ask for either revelation on it, or power to obey it.  In this case, power to obey it, and the Lord made David’s testimony mine.  Instead of being religious about the Word, I enjoyed it.  I began to have joy and joy and joy! in delight in rejoicing in Him.  Try it and don’t give up until He does it.  Hunger is a neccesary part though, with the measure you ask for the measure you recieve!
