MATT 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
We cannot seek the Kingdom without making a point to also seek righteousness through Jesus, seeking to do what the Father is doing. Righteousness doesn’t happen without taking up your cross to follow after Jesus. The denial of self, that the Cross represents, is part of the cost for the deeper authority and power of the Kingdom. It is key we learn that Jesus does not exist for us, but rather we exist for Him. He provides for us when we are no longer our own, but His, a possesion of the King, the Kingdom manefesting through us.
Righteousness is what separates us from darkness. It justifies God acting on our behalf and adding to us things we did not even know enough to ask for. The other things that will be added to you are priceless, and they are part of life in the Kingdom. They equip you to live a Kingdom lifestyle. We also know Provision comes also from sowing into others that which you yourself need more of. Matt 7:9 “Give and it will be given unto you.”
