Prayers of the bible pt 1

The newestCoffee Talk with John Paul Jackson has me thinking about how many Christians have pursued better jobs, nicer climates and such and are out of the will of God, our of their destiny. He forms us in the womb with a plan and a destiny..

That’s why I think praying Col 1:9-12 is so crucial. Praying Paul’s prayers that are in Scripture is praying the Holy Spirit’s desires… Guaranteed to be answered. So we pray to know His will in all wisdom and spiriutal understanding, so that we would have a walk worthy of our calling in the Lord. Powerful stuff.

I know many ‘just want to pray want is on my heart.’ And that is totally awesome, and neccessary. But the church has got to get a hold of praying the Holy Spirit’s prayers in the bible. Eph 1:17-19 is the greatest need for any church, unbeliever, anyone. 2nd Cor 4:4 says that the enemy has blinded the mind of unbelievers to the glory of the gospel, so right there its clear to pray for the Eph 1:18 enlightenment.

So yeah you want to be closer to Jesus, v17 that the Holy Spirit would bring revelation of His glory to your innerman. You want the councel of God?? v17- Spirit of Wisdom. Power? v19 Surpassing greatness. To see Jesus clearer? v18- see above. To see what the Father has in for Jesus in us saints v 19 glory of His inheritance in the saints.

He did it for Ephesus, He’ll do it for you. These prayers are prophetic promises of what God wants and need to do in your life to bring you to maturity and to your destiny. Guaranteed answered prayer.

To know your destiny?? v19 Hope of your calling. And in this we can escape the plans of the enemy to keep us blind to our destiny, falling the world, our families, our just plain moving forward without vision… which proverbs Pro 29:18 says is to perish.
